37 Weeks

Moving into a house during your third trimester is not the best idea. I have been in nesting mode, but don't have very much energy after chasing a toddler all day. The projects that I thought were going to be essential before baby's arrival probably won't get done and I am ok with that. We will be in this house for years, so I have plenty of time to get things just the way I want them.

Speaking of baby, she is doing well so far. This pregnancy my blood pressure has been right where it needs to be, so no bed rest! I am just over 37 weeks and had my first cervical check last week. Our little girl hasn't even dropped down as far as she should yet. My doctor is giving me the option of scheduling an induction after 39 weeks, which is probably what we will do. I am a planner and the unknown of when I will go into labor has been giving me severe anxiety. I definitely still need 2 weeks to get things ready. I am close, but there are still things around the house I need to accomplish before we can have guests. If I accomplish one task a day I feel pretty proud of myself.

Eleanor has become obsessed with my growing belly. She is always lifting up my shirt to check it out. The other day she lifted it up and said, "Whoa!" Thanks, Ellie. That is just want I needed to hear. Haha. She loves baby dolls, so I am sure she will love her little sister. We will see how well she adjusts to not having all the attention on her all the time. We are on Day 3 of Project No Binky and we are both alive, so that's good. The amount of screaming before falling asleep as gradually decreased, so I guess she is starting to adjust. Just in time for her world to get turned upside down in a couple weeks. :-)
