I have been wanting to post more, but I really don't have anything interesting to share. I've been working a ton, getting mad at my March Madness bracket (Seriously, Georgetown?), planning parties (Enrichment etc) and trying to sleep. My little sister is getting married and so I am trying to help out in that department. And before you even think about asking, yes I am perfectly ok with the fact that my younger sister is getting married before me. I have known for years that she would. It was my idea to make a bet with her that who ever got married first would have to buy the other one a steak dinner. She has always been very dependent on guys and I haven't. And I am still so young, I really don't think about marriage, or think I am ready.
I celebrated my birthday a little early with old roommates tonight and we had so much fun. We had two of my favorite things, Swedish meatballs and cheesecake, and talked for hours. I love spending time with good friends!

I wonder . . .
I wonder when the day will come that I will stop thinking, "What am I doing with my life?" or "What do I want to do with my life?" I don't see the answers anywhere in the near future.

Viva Las Vegas
Vegas. I don't really know what to say. The conference that I went to was really good. I took a couple of classes to help improve our company's trade show experience and I learned a lot. The weather was beautiful, 75-80 degrees. My hotel room was huge; pretty sure it was bigger than my entire apartment. Who needs to 42" plasma screen TV's?
It was my first time in Vegas, so I just spent a lot of time walking the strip and looking at the buildings. It made me miss NYC a lot. I went to the top of the Eiffel Tower, which has an amazing view. And I went shopping at the Miracle Mile of Shops. And I just have to say . . . lame! H&M was so disappointing. They only carried juniors' and mens' and they didn't have any good accessories. The store is tiny. So I didn't buy anything. However, I did spend a couple hours in Sephora and spent way too much money on things I don't need.
I am in love with the Conservatory inside the Bellagio. It is under construction right now, but they have these giant flowers that are amazing. I want to live there. Or have my wedding reception there.
I'm kind of sad that I don't have any really good stories to tell. It was funny to see drunk people, haven't seen that in a while. But really, nothing that exciting happened. Maybe next time I will get married in the Little Chapel of Love just for kicks.

No More Noise
This week has been kind of interesting. After a lot of drama, my car door is finally fixed!! For those who have been lucky enough to ride in my car sometime during the past year or so would know that my front passenger door lock made a really loud noise every time it locked and unlocked. And it wouldn't open from the outside. I have to admit that I kind of miss the noise. I doubt anyone else does.
I am starting some new projects at work that I am really excited about. A lot more events for me to plan!! And I'm headed to Vegas on Monday, which should be interesting. I'm going to an exhibitor show to learn how to get the most of the trade shows that we attend. H&M and Sephora here I come!! I hope to have some interesting stories to share.

P.S. I Love You
Apparently all I do is watch movies because I saw P.S. I Love You tonight. And I almost hated it. First of all, I think Hilary Swank looks like a man and is extremely unattractive. Second of all, I did not need to see Denny's (Grey's Anatomy) naked rear end. Third, it was way too sad. Every time I would finally stop crying, something else that was extremely sad would happen and I would start crying all over again. Maybe I'm just a little too sensitive about death, but I don't think that movies should be made where the moviegoer cries the whole time. Unless it is a documentary about dying kids in Africa or something. That would be an exception. I just wanted to stop crying so I was begging for the movie to end. I didn't even care how it ended, which is rare for me because I am usually very picky about the way a movie ends.
I guess the movie had some good elements, like some pretty shots of Ireland and some hot Irish accents. And pretty shoes. But other than that, I think it was a dud. Maybe the next movie I see will be a winner.
