I am so happy that the majority of airports have free Wi-Fi now. I'm sitting here at the Denver airport waiting to fly to Orlando. The company I work for is holding a 2 day Sales Conference that I organized. Though I am excited for sunny 70 degree weather, I hated leaving Kevin. Even though he leaves all the time for business trips, it doesn't get any easier to be apart for a couple days. I guess that's a good sign, right? We don't get sick of each other.
I was not very productive over the weekend. We were supposed to do our engagement photos, but it snowed like crazy. Looks like we get to do them in a couple weeks.
I should be working on something right now I'm sure.
Any suggestions on where to order flowers? I would love to make the arrangements and brides maid's flowers myself.

Wedding Planning Update
I feel like the end will never come. It seems like I work on wedding plans everyday and nothing is getting done. I guess I am glad that I have 81 days to get it all done.
We are so far behind with our invitations. Still not designed yet, but Kevin's sister will be working on them. We are hopefully doing our engagement photos this weekend, if there is no snow.
I finally ordered the fabric for the table runners and hopefully Kevin's mom can work on those in the next couple weeks.
We have asked Kevin's sister to also make fuchsia ties for all the little boys. I'm really excited about them!
We started tux shopping, but haven't found anything we like yet. I have another dress fitting next week and will hopefully have my dress finished before the wedding!
The honeymoon is booked and I'm so excited! Cancun here we come! Check out the link to see where we will be staying!

After much thought and many prayers, we have decided not to buy a house. Well, mostly because we can't get pre-approved. Let the apartment hunting begin!
I will be in Orlando most of next week for work, so that puts me behind a couple of days. Not looking forward to being gone, but at least I will be able to enjoy some warmer weather!
I have decided on the party favors and I'm excited about them. I found these little black and white damask boxes with fuchsia ribbon. We are filling them with pink and white M&Ms.

Well, that's the update for now. I am actually not that stressed about it. Just want it to all be over so I can be married!!

Out with the old and in with the new!
So many things to blog about, but so little time. I wanted to wrap up a few things from 2009 that I haven't gotten around to blogging about.
A couple weeks before Christmas Kevin and I ventured up to Temple Square in Salt Lake City with Kevin's friend Glen to see the lights. It was very cold, but beautiful.

Wedding plans are still underway. I have to admit that I have been slacking. I just keeping thinking that I have plenty of time, but we only have 97 days. At least I have my dress picked out and I go in for my second fitting on Tuesday. I'm excited about it. I can't post pics yet, because I don't want Kevin to see it. It's a designer gown by Oleg Cassini. He designed all of Jackie Kennedy's dresses when she was in the White House.
Kevin's sister is working on our invitations, so hopefully we will have those designed in the next couple weeks. There are just so many little things to do that it gets to be a bit overwhelming sometimes, but I still love it!
Christmas in Washington was fantastic. I was a little weary about not spending it with my family, but Kevin's family is so loving and fun, and I had an amazing time. It didn't rain once while I was there, which I'm pretty sure is a miracle.
We ventured into Seattle and it was nice to be in a big city again! Kevin and I made it to the top of the Space Needle and enjoyed some incredible views. Of course we stopped at Sephora and H&M too!

Christmas HERE I COME
Two more hours of work and then my vacation begins!! I have to go home and repack because I know I packed way too much. I won't have room to bring anything back.
I'm so excited to be flying to Bremerton to spend Christmas with Kevin's family. It will be my first away from mine, but it's still going to be wonderful.
Monday night Kevin and I celebrated Christmas together and opened our presents from my parents and to each other. Kevin spoiled me rotten.
He bought be a new Coach purse (similar to this one)

a Tiffany necklace:

Snow White on DVD

a handbag Calendar

a giant cupcake cake pan and a giant Oreo cake pan (both from William & Sonoma) so I can make cakes likes these:

and . . . an iPod Touch!!!

BEST. CHRISTMAS. EVER!

Thanksgiving
This post is so late, but I wanted to share a couple pictures from our trip to California for Thanksgiving. Kevin and I drove out a couple days before, stopped in Vegas and then made the rest of the trip to my parent's near Santa Barbara.
The weather was fantastic and we had so much fun. It is a tradition in my family to decorate gingerbread houses for Christmas, and since I won't be with my fam for Christmas this year, we decorated a train while I was at home. I think we had more fun with the landscape than the train. Note the "lumber" in the caboose, the fish pond and the gravel path.

Kevin was a Black Friday virgin, so he joined us for the 4:30 am shopping trip. He ended up spending more than my parents. I loved sharing that experience with him.
While Kevin was still trying to recover from the early bird specials, my Mom and I did some more shopping and then drove up to The Neverland Ranch. The sign is no longer there, but it was still cool to see the front gate. Since Michael Jackson's death, people have written messages on the rocks and trees surrounding the gate. I couldn't leave without writing something, so I pulled out a pen and started writing a note on one of the trees. Just as I was finishing, the security guard came out and yelled at me to stop. Seriously? I figured it was because he had nothing else to do.

Solvang is the neighboring town to my parent's and we just had to take Kevin there. They have the best pastries. Aebelskivers and a strawberry cream cheese danish. So good!

And course, we had to go to the beach too. Here are a couple pics my Mom took of us.
