Busy, Busy, Busy

New posts are coming, I promise. I am working on one for the wedding day, then I will get to the Honeymoon. We got home late last night from Cancun and leave tomorrow morning for Philadelphia, so we are running around crazy today trying to get things done and unpacked/packed. I will have lots of time in Philadelphia to catch up, so look for some updates later this week.

Stress

Pretty sure if Kevin and I can get through planning this wedding without killing each other, our marriage is going to be just fine.

I have no patience anymore, and poor Kevin has to dealing with my breakdowns everyday.

It can't come soon enough!

Counting the Days

I had my final wedding dress fitting today and the dress if officially in my possession! It’s been a long 3 months, but so worth it. I love it so much! It just makes me that more anxious for the big day. I should be doing bridals in a couple weeks, so I can post pics then. Kevin will be taking my bridals, so I won’t care about hiding the dress from him after that.

The invitations are in the final design phase, and should go to the printer next week. Can’t wait to get them out of the way!

We have signed the contract with the florist and I’m so excited to see how everything turns out. I am doing mostly hot pink lady roses, fuchsia spray roses, white lisianthus, white stephanotis and white roses. Should be pretty!

Our engagement pictures turned out so good! Thanks to Ashley for doing an amazing job. I still have to get the edited ones from Kevin, and then I will post.

I can’t believe April 10^th is getting so close. Some days fly by while others seem to drag, but I’m trying to enjoy every moment.

Orlando Bound

I am so happy that the majority of airports have free Wi-Fi now. I'm sitting here at the Denver airport waiting to fly to Orlando. The company I work for is holding a 2 day Sales Conference that I organized. Though I am excited for sunny 70 degree weather, I hated leaving Kevin. Even though he leaves all the time for business trips, it doesn't get any easier to be apart for a couple days. I guess that's a good sign, right? We don't get sick of each other.

I was not very productive over the weekend. We were supposed to do our engagement photos, but it snowed like crazy. Looks like we get to do them in a couple weeks.

I should be working on something right now I'm sure.

Any suggestions on where to order flowers? I would love to make the arrangements and brides maid's flowers myself.

Wedding Planning Update

I feel like the end will never come. It seems like I work on wedding plans everyday and nothing is getting done. I guess I am glad that I have 81 days to get it all done.

We are so far behind with our invitations. Still not designed yet, but Kevin's sister will be working on them. We are hopefully doing our engagement photos this weekend, if there is no snow.

I finally ordered the fabric for the table runners and hopefully Kevin's mom can work on those in the next couple weeks.

We have asked Kevin's sister to also make fuchsia ties for all the little boys. I'm really excited about them!

We started tux shopping, but haven't found anything we like yet. I have another dress fitting next week and will hopefully have my dress finished before the wedding!

After much thought and many prayers, we have decided not to buy a house. Well, mostly because we can't get pre-approved. Let the apartment hunting begin!

I will be in Orlando most of next week for work, so that puts me behind a couple of days. Not looking forward to being gone, but at least I will be able to enjoy some warmer weather!

I have decided on the party favors and I'm excited about them. I found these little black and white damask boxes with fuchsia ribbon. We are filling them with pink and white M&Ms.




Well, that's the update for now. I am actually not that stressed about it. Just want it to all be over so I can be married!!

Shoes

I found my wedding shoes . . .

Five inch heels, baby! I wish they were a little brighter pink, but I still love them. Kevin drove me up to Sandy last night to try them on at Dillards since they didn't have them in Provo. I loved them so I went home and ordered them from Steve Madden for $20 less.
