Scarlett Turns One!

Totally forgot to post about Scarlett's First Birthday on October 11, 2014. Oops! Poor second child. We just had a small family birthday party with my sister Jenny's family, brother Ben and Aunt Judy. The theme was Scarlett's Sweet Shoppe and turned out darling, in my humble opinion.

 Cupcakes for everyone else.

 A few of her gifts.

Musical Numbers and Pin the Lollipop on the Stick.

Scarlett had a blast and totally understood that it was HER day. We are so happy to have family close by to celebrate with. Thanks for everyone who made her day so special!

Scarlett - 11 Months

I don't want to believe that my baby will be a year old in a few weeks. She is too little! We sure do love her to pieces.

A few things about Scarlett at 11 Months:

- Is becoming less picky about foods and still loves applesauce, yogurt, bread, peas, eggs and chicken.

- Nurses 2-3 times a day.

- Crawls on all fours now.

- Walks along the furniture.

- One of her bottom teeth is starting to come through, finally.

- Says Dada, Daddy and Hi!

- Mostly wears 3-6 month clothes

- Smiles and laughs all the time!

- Loves to play with baby dolls, blocks and crayons.

- Attended her first baseball game.

- Toured the Ogden LDS Temple.

Ten Months - Scarlett

Scarlett just keeps getting cuter and cuter. Her personality is really starting to shine through and she is hilarious.

A few things about Scarlett at 10 months:

- Nurses about 4 times a day and eats lots of solid foods. Likes everything we have given her except humus and avocados. Loves peas, applesauce and any sort of bread.

- Still no teeth, but I have a feeling they will be popping up soon.

- Wont keep bows or headbands on her head.

- Sleeps pretty well during the night, except when she is sick. Naps twice a day.

- Wears mostly 3-6 months size clothes. My guess is that she weighs about 14 lbs.

- Discovered her tongue and loves to stick it in and out like a lizard.

- Starting to pull herself up on things. Loves to climb all over is on the floor.

- Smiles, laughs and claps all the time.

- Plays well by herself as long as there are enough toys to entertain her.

Eleanor Ann - 2.5 Years

Eleanor has such a fun personality I thought it was important to write down some things as she turned 2 1/2.

- She has so much energy and runs everywhere.

- Loves all things princesses, Minnie Mouse and sharks.

- LOVES the color pink.

- Favorite foods include: applesauce, yogurt, peaches, pears, pb & j sandwiches, quesadillas, grilled cheese, fruit snacks and cupcakes.

- Ellie is very social and says hi to everyone.

- Has a very good imagination and we love to hear her play with her dolls.

- Is showing an interest in using the potty and we hope to start potty training this week.

- Hates being dirty and has to wash her hands several times during meals.

- Loves being outside, especially helping daddy in the yard.

- Talks constantly and has quite a large vocabulary.

- Loves her baby sister and is very protective of her.

She told me it is a shark.
