Apparently Events Coordinators are not immune to the economic crisis. Yesterday I was "let go" from my job. I don't think I have been more terrified than I was yesterday. Though it was incredibly hard to digest the news, I'm trying to see the blessings that will come from it. First of all, I really didn't like my job. Second of all, my boyfriend and I can finally come out of the closet. We worked together and had been keeping our relationship a secret from our coworkers. Well, that's all I have right now. I'm sure more blessings will appear once I have had more time to process.
Today I will file for unemployment, update my resume and start the job search. Though I would love to enjoy having some time off, my bank account and bills will not allow it. So if anyone knows of any job opportunities, please let me know!
Love you all!

I am so sorry April! That sucks. I will let you know if I hear of anything.
I will keep my eyes and ears open. Onto new beginnings!!! :D
ugh, bummer about the job! This economy is brutal!
I'm so sorry! I hope that something comes up soon! I'll pray for you! Let me know if there's anything else I can do!
This economy stuff is getting rather old, don't you think? I'm sorry about your job. Have you tried looking at the BYU Comms jobs Web site? Worst case scenario you could always start as an intern again and work your way up!
