Carl Bloch

I meant to write about this a while back, but forgot. If you haven't' been to the Carl Bloch exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art, you need to go. I went before Thanksgiving and it was incredible. If you don't know who Carl Bloch is, he did this painting:

The Museum already owns this particular painting, but there are four alter paintings that are on loan from Denmark and Sweden. This is the first time that all five paintings have been in the same location. EVER. There are several other paintings and sketches that are worth seeing too. I think the exhibit runs through May, but you don't want to wait that long. Admission is free, so bonus! You just have to reserve your tickets in advance online at carlbloch.byu.edu.
