And I am so excited to use it!! Isn't it pretty?! I want to travel all the time now so I can use it more. Not really, but I do need to find more opportunities to use it. Maybe I should take one to work every so often. That wouldn't be weird or anything.

Polka Dots on Wheels
I had some DP today, so of course I can't sleep. Therefore, I have decided to blog. I had a late night at work, getting ready for a huge show next week. I'm really nervous about how it is all going to pan out, but I am also really excited. I bought new luggage for my birthday:

Spring has Sprung
It is so hard to think of something interesting to write. I still have a love/hate relationship with P-town. The weather is being bipolar, but at least some of the pretty pink blossoms are out!
I am battling my addition to shopping. Last weekend the mall won, but this weekend I was victorious. I think I made my way to the checkout in at least five stores, but always talked myself out of the purchase. Two hours and I didn't spend any money, except on the vending machine when I was trying to buy a bottle of water. And of course the machine ate my money and failed to dispense my drink. Lesson learned on that one.
My sister is having another baby . . . number three! Three in three. She's pretty crazy, but I am super excited. I hope it's a boy. I want to buy cute little sneakers and baseball caps.

Stiff Necks and High Heads
I am such a snob. I had to venture up north to a mall (which I will not name so as to not offend anyone) this afternoon to pick up some bridesmaid dresses. (I'm very excited about the dresses by the way.) As I was walking around the mall, all I could think of was, "Wow, these people are really white trash." Granted, I haven't really heard that many great things about this particular region, so maybe it's reputation proceeded it, but really that is no excuse for my judgment. I kept thinking, "Hey, I may not love the town I'm in, but at least there aren't that many white trash people there."
It wasn't until tonight that a scripture that I read a couple nights ago came to mind. You know the one, Jacob 2:13-14 . . .
because some of you have obtained more abundantly than that of your brethren ye are lifted up in the pride of your hearts, and wear stiff necks and high heads because of the costliness of your apparel, and persecute your brethren because ye suppose that ye are better than they.

One Year Older
Birthdays and death. Both events make you think about what you are doing with your life. And I think I feel ok with mine right now. Things have not gone according to my plan, but it's not about MY plan is it? Am I doing what I thought I would be doing at the age of 24? No, but that's what is so great about it. I never imagined that I would be living in Provo, but I am so grateful for the people I have met and the friends I have made. Relationships are the more important thing in my life and they are all that really matter. It doesn't matter where I live, I need to make the best of it. Here's to a year of maturing and growing into that person that I should be.

Just a Little Update
I have been wanting to post more, but I really don't have anything interesting to share. I've been working a ton, getting mad at my March Madness bracket (Seriously, Georgetown?), planning parties (Enrichment etc) and trying to sleep. My little sister is getting married and so I am trying to help out in that department. And before you even think about asking, yes I am perfectly ok with the fact that my younger sister is getting married before me. I have known for years that she would. It was my idea to make a bet with her that who ever got married first would have to buy the other one a steak dinner. She has always been very dependent on guys and I haven't. And I am still so young, I really don't think about marriage, or think I am ready.
I celebrated my birthday a little early with old roommates tonight and we had so much fun. We had two of my favorite things, Swedish meatballs and cheesecake, and talked for hours. I love spending time with good friends!

I wonder . . .
I wonder when the day will come that I will stop thinking, "What am I doing with my life?" or "What do I want to do with my life?" I don't see the answers anywhere in the near future.
