Eleanor has such a fun personality I thought it was important to write down some things as she turned 2 1/2.

- She has so much energy and runs everywhere.

- Loves all things princesses, Minnie Mouse and sharks.

- LOVES the color pink.

- Favorite foods include: applesauce, yogurt, peaches, pears, pb & j sandwiches, quesadillas, grilled cheese, fruit snacks and cupcakes.

- Ellie is very social and says hi to everyone.

- Has a very good imagination and we love to hear her play with her dolls.

- Is showing an interest in using the potty and we hope to start potty training this week.

- Hates being dirty and has to wash her hands several times during meals.

- Loves being outside, especially helping daddy in the yard.

- Talks constantly and has quite a large vocabulary.

- Loves her baby sister and is very protective of her.

Right after we got back from our trip to San Diego, my family started coming into town. We were still missing two siblings, but it was fun to have all nine grand kids together for the first time.

Scarlett and cousin Grafton, only two months apart.

Independence Day

Fourth of July weekend we spent up in Logan Canyon with some of Kevin's immediate and extended family. I am still recovering from all the bug bites, but it was a really nice weekend getaway. Kevin and Eleanor camped the first night while Scarlett and I slept at Kevin's brother's house. Eleanor had a hard time with all the bugs and dirt at first, but finally warmed up to the concept of camping. She didn't want to sleep in the tent the second night so she slept with me.

We watched fireworks from Scott and Kristen's on the 3rd and had a patriotic program the night of the 4th. It was great to spend time with family and see Eleanor play with her cousins.

Scarlett loves her cousin Kate.

Am I too young for makeup, Mom?
