Sundance Adventures

Last weekend I went up to Park City for the Sundance Film Festival. I met up with a good friend and some of his friends. The first stop was a gay brunch entitled OutFest sponsored by Absolut Vodka. There was a small stage and I did a little dancing. If I was wearing different shoes, I think I would have let loose a little bit more. I may not agree with their views, but those people do know how to have fun. Plus they were all extremely attractive and much nicer than straight guys.

The next stop was Keith Bryce's Paper Doll Show. Keith is from SLC and was on the last season of Project Runway. My friend's friend knows his boyfriend so we managed an invite. It was an art show where he displayed some of his artwork, scarves, clothing and dolls. There were live models who were gorgeous and the apparel was beautiful as well. He was selling these incredible scarves, but they were a little out of my budget, so my friend agreed to make me one soon. I met a lot of cool people, and it was kind if entertaining to see people wasted at one in the afternoon.

After a couple hours at the art show, we decided to walk Main street and look for something to eat. While walking we saw Paris Hilton coming out of Harry Os, well at least the top of her head. There were way too many people crowded around her. We also saw Chet from Real World: Brooklyn. There was also an anti-fur protest which was kind of scary. Lots of shouting and strange makeup and clothing.

Over all the day was a blast. The guys I hung out with were hilarious, especailly the one that was completely wasted and was hugging me and telling me he loved me . . . yes it was the first time we had met. It was really nice to get out of the Provo bubble and meet some different people. It definitely makes me ache to move on.

I didn't know Keith was gay. Glad you had fun, and it was awesome to run into you at Smith's the other day.

Way to live it up at Sundance! All I ever do is walk up Main Street and eat a caramel apple from Rocky Mtn. Chocolate Factory! Your experience sounds like WAY more fun!
