In the Heights

According to US Weekly, Angelina Jolie is looking at buying an apartment in Washington Heights, a neighborhood in Manhattan. According to the article, the building is really nice. Well, I would love to know what "really nice" building they are talking about because I lived in Washington Heights (also known as the Dominican Heights) and I'm pretty sure I never saw one. Though I question her choice of location, I would love to see her walking down the trash-filled, urine scented sidewalk while creepy old Hispanic men call out to her in Spanish. And despite Harlem's claim to fame, Washington Heights tends to have a much higher crime rate. I never really felt safe there, and one of my last nights there, I know I heard gun shots outside my building.
